My Father's name is/was Henry L Stephens and everyone called him Steve. I did not now my Dad all that well since he passed away while I was young. I knew my Dad served in the Army during WWII. But know I have a photo of him in his dress uniform and he is wearing a "Ranger" patch with a unit emblem below it that looks like a large bold "M' in block letter style. I have been searching everywhere for it's meaning but have yet to find it....can anyone please help me. I have all his Medals he was awarded plus the Army sent me his Purple Heart.
I am proud to know that he was one of the chosen few to answer that call of becoming a US ARMY RANGER. As one Navy Corpsman veteran (Vietnam) to all of you.........THANK YOU for "Leading The Way"
